Dave: Dave is a 17 year old teenager, who is hanging out at his friends Mike’s house. Dave is jumpy and anxious and his fear for the unknown often fuels his imagination. Despite Dave’s nervousness, he still pushes himself to act in scary situations.
Mike: Mike is also a 17 year old teenager and is Dave’s best friend. He presents himself as laid back and nonchalant. He tends to take charge in situations, but does it with sarcasm rather than bravery. He enjoys teasing Dave but ultimately looks out for him. His instinct is to soften fear, creating a contrast to Dave’s personality.
Bartholomew: Bartholomew is Mike’s 16 year old cousin. He is eccentric, clueless and most of all finds himself in bizarre situations – like getting tangled in a bedsheet. Bartholomew has an odd sense of humour and doesn’t seem to be fazed by much, creating a comic relief.
